[Class 31(i)] A rotary - cutter for cutting ring test-pieces of rubber or the like from the sheet and which can be used in a drilling machine comprises a body portion a having concentric portions b of different radii to which are secured arcuate blades, e.g. razor blades, with their cutting edges inclined slightly to the sheet material, the body portion being mounted for rotation about and axial displacement along a pillar c whose end rests on the material and may be held down by spring pressure.
