[Class 131] In a dry shaver comprising at least two spaced, parallel cutter heads 1, 11 each having a cutter blade reciprocating within, and in the direction of the longitudinal dimension of, a guard 2, each cutter head is convexly curved in the direction of movement of the cutter. As shown the hairs at 4 are erected for easier cutting by stretching of the skin in the direction of movement of the cutter, by virtue of the curvature, and between the cutter heads at right angles to that direction. The longitudinal curvature of the cutter head may be a circular arc and the cutter heads may be, additionally, gabled transversely.
