Abstract

613,467. Reflectors for domestic fireplaces. BARGH, S. R. July 25, 1946, No. 11449. [Class 126] A heat reflector for a domestic fireplace is arranged to stand in the hearth and surround the fire opening. As shewn in Fig. 5, the reflector comprises a sheet metal fitting having a concave front 10 and sides 9 inclined inwardly and rearwardly supported by rods 12 having feet 13. In a modification, Fig. 7, the front 10 is fluted and the supports are in the form of boxes 21 for the reception of fire-irons, vertical adjustment being effected by slots 22 riding over screws 23. As shewn in Fig. 3, rods 12 carry adjustable side reflectors 14 and an adjustable upper reflector 20.
