[Also in Group XIII] A fireplace frame formed of two inverted L-shaped members a, b, which are connected by means c, permitting adjustment of the width of the frame, is characterised in that the vertical portions of members a and bare connected to a deflector plate g which extends into the fireplace and is secured to spaced cheek pieces h, i forming with a distance piece j an air heating chamber. A plate d (not shown) is screwed to the back of the clip c to clamp the ends of the members a and b at the required distance apart. The cheek pieces h, i are clamped to the plates g by screws p, p2 and adjustable thereon, depthwise of the fireplace.
