[Class 135] [Also in Group XIII] A steam heater for liquids circulated therethrough from a storage tank &c. comprises a hollow elongated body 1 having bosses 2, 4 for connection to the tank, a steam supply nozzle 8 at one end and at the other end a ball valve 12 mounted on a casing 14 slidable relevant to the nozzle 8 and containing a thermostat, the steam passing through the nozzle causing, by injector action, circulation of the liquid through the hollow body while the thermostat, according to the temperature of the circulated liquid, moves the ball valve to and from the nozzle 8 to control the supply of steam. The casing 14 is guided in an opening 15 in the upper part of the body 1 and by radial fins 7 and may be preadjusted manually by a cap 21 compressing a spring 20.
