699,298. Hot-water boilers &c. PHILLIPS, A. Sept. 28, 1951 [Aug. 16, 1950], No. 20314/50. Class 64 (i) The bottom 2 of a water or other fluid storage tank 1 or boiler is provided with a pair of tubes 3, 4 closed at the bottom and depending into a space supplied with heat, e.g. from a flame or hot gases. One tube 3 has an upward tubular extension 10 which is bent over to project down inside the second tube 4. The tube 3 also has an open-ended tube 13 projecting inside it and extending through the extension 10 so as to open into the tank or boiler at a position above its bottom 2.
