Abstract

612,215. Dressing cases. GORDON, A. May 18, 1946, No. 15120. [Class 133] A dressing case comprises a flat container of soft leather or other flexible material closed by a sliding clasp fastener and provided on one wall with a supplementary container of similar construction which is divided into separate pockets. As shown to one wall C of a main container, formed by stitching two rectangular sheets B, C along three edges, is stitched at J a supplementary container of similar construction and with its open side adjacent that of the main container and closed by a sliding-clasp fastener and divided by transverse stitching O into three pockets P, Q, R. Between the sheet M and the lining N two smaller compartments S, T are formed by employing two extra thicknesses V of lining and sewing at O and W. Access is had through slots in the outer wall M closable by sliding clasp fasteners. These compartments need not extend the full depth of the supplementary container and more than two may be provided. The supplementary container may be divided into two only or more than three separate pockets. The exterior of the case may be lettered to indicate the articles for which the pockets are intended.
