A brief case or other container has a base 1 and lid 2 of flexible material stiffened by members in pockets 3 and a side wall 4 of which a portion 4d is non- detachably connected to the base 1 and lid 2, the remainder, forming the sides 4a, 4b, 4c, being connected to the base by a single sliding clasp fastener having strips 5a, 5b, and slide 5c and which also connects the sides 4b and 4d. The lid is secured to the sides by the action of a sliding clasp fastener having a slider 8c and a handle 9 is attached to the side 4c. The lid may be omitted to form a collapsable open tray.
