Abstract

1456176 Luggage BRILLIANT HANDBAGS Mfg Ltd 10 March 1975 9865/75 Heading A4G A cover 1 for a carrying case 2 comprises two inter-connected panels 6, 7 for fitting to the outside of the lid and base of the case when the latter is closed, one or each panel being provided with or forming part of at least one closable pocket, and the panels being provided with releasable fastening means for securing the cover to the case. As described the panels 6, 7 are inter-connected by sets of straps, or, as shown, by a panel 8 having an opening 19 for the case handle 17 and a cardboard stiffener. The panels 6, 7 are inter-connected by straps 14, 16, and carry pockets 11, 12 closed by sliding clasp fasteners 13. The cover may be of polyurethane sheet with a textile material backing.
