952,542. Handbags. LITTLESTONE & GOODWIN Ltd. Jan. 14, 1963 [Feb. 27, 1962; June 1, 1962], Nos. 7557/62 and 21267/62. Heading A4G. A handbag having front and back walls 1, 2 whose top edges form the mouth of the bag is provided with a decorative cover 14 passing under the bag and with sides folding up against the bag walls. The sides may have holes 15 passing over pins 13 and retained thereon by bag retaining flaps 11 with press stud heads 12 engaging pins 13, or press-studs may be formed at 12 to positively engage stud sockets at 15, the pins-13 being replaced by stud sockets to engage the studs at 12 when the cover is removed. The retaining flaps may be replaced by clip on buttons.
