Abstract

449,082. Wallets. BRUNSKILL, F., 32, Harringford Road, Aigburth, and BROOK, D. M., 25, Thingwall Avenue, Wavertree, both in Liverpool. Dec. 13, 1934, No. 35760. [Class 18] A wallet &c. is provided with a key-holding panel comprising sheets 20, 21 of leather, &c., stitched at 27 to define closed pockets, the sheet 20 being formed with apertures 32 through which the shank of a key can be passed. A flap 13 with a press stud fastener can be secured over the keys to prevent accidental dislodgment thereof. The sheet 21 has a fabric backing 26a and may be provided with side wings 23 by which it is adhesively secured to the cover 10 of the wallet, and the two sheets 20, 21 are also stitched to the cover along its top and bottom edges except for a short distance along the top edge to provide an entrance to the pocket 25 thus formed. The lines of stitching joining the various sheets together are reinforced by strips of leather. In closing the wallet, the flap 13 is folded down and then the side portions of the cover 10 are folded in. The usual pockets 18, &c. are provided.
