Abstract

782,167. Satchels. GEORGE, C. ST. J. Aug. 26, 1955 [May 27, 1954], No. 15702/54. Class 133. A flap-closed satchel having one component 6 of the fastening secured to the flap and the other 4 to the body, or to a pocket 2 attached to the body, has a reinforcement enclosed within the flap to impart rigidity thereto. The reinforcement consists of two metal strips 9, 10 enclosed in a pocket formed by stitching a a strip 12 of flexible material to the underside of the flap.
