870,228. Garment pockets. HUGHES Ltd., GEOFFREY. Oct. 19, 1959 [Oct. 18; 1958], No. 33327/58. Class 141 An inside pocket is formed in the lining of a coat &c. by forming two reversely directed folds in a strip of the lining between a dart and the edge 3 to be attached to the front facing, and closing the sides of the pocket in the same operations as joining the dart and attaching the front facing to the edge 3. To form a breast pocket, the strip between the underarm dart 2 and the edge 3 is shaped as shown in broken lines prior to folding. A ticket pocket may be formed similarly by folding the extended strip between the breast dart 7 and the edge 3. The pocket may be reinforced by canvas &c.
