Abstract

609,769. Pallets for use with lifting trucks. MONTGOMERY, F. M. March 21, 1946, No. 8802. [Class 78 (iv)] A pallet for use with stillage trucks built up of a number of metal sections comprises two side members with one or more support members arranged therebetween, and strip members constituting the upper and lower decks of the pallet supported by said side and intermediate members. In the embodiment shown, the pallet comprises deck members c, d having sections as shown in Figs. 4, 5, supported by side members a and a centre support member constituted by two V-shaped channel members bl, b<2>. The member c is rolled at c<2> to enclose a stiffening wire or rod e.
