609,332. Drying grain-discharging devices. BOBY, Ltd., R., and WESSON, J. P. Feb. 28, 1946, No. 6317. [Class 34(ii)] [Also in Group XXX] Apparatus similar to that described in Specification 608,792 is combined with a grain-turning device 2 both being supported on a common carriage. Either the grain-turner 2, or the discharging blade 13 and worm conveyer 14, may be brought into .an operative position in relation to the layer of grain G on the kiln floor 1, the other being displaced into an inoperative position as indicated by the chain line in the Figure. The structure being pivoted about a journal 11. The apparatus may be operated from a suitable shafting running the length of the kiln or by an endless chain 25 driven by an electric motor 22 which passes over a sprocket on the main shaft of the apparatus.
