Abstract

609,095. Roof trusses; portable buildings. BATLEY, E. March 6, 1946, No. 6904. [Classes 20(i) and 20(iv)] In a garage, shed, &c., in which the walls are formed from precast concrete sections 4 supported between precast concrete posts 5 and having an interfitting engagement therewith, the roof truss comprises a concrete beam 1 which may be reinforced, having depending extensions 2 at each end resting on and forming a continuation of the posts 5 and also having an interfitting engagement with the wall sections. In the form shown, the wall is constructed as described in Specification 609,097, the posts 5 being provided with tongues and grooves and bolt holes, and the extensions 2 are similarly provided. The beam 1 is grooved at 9 to engage with roof slabs 10 as described in Specification 609,096.
