Abstract

609,097. Walls building slabs. BATLEY, E. March 6, 1946, No. 6906. [Classes 20(iv) and 87(i)] A wall for a garage, shed, &c., comprises precast concrete posts 1 having a groove on one side and a tongue on the other, and precast concrete slabs s 2, having grooves along an adjacent end and side and tongues along the opposite end and side, the slabs being supported between said posts and having a tongue and groove engagement ,therewith and with one another. In the form shown, the slabs are flanged on all four sides, and the side flanges and posts 1, Fig. 3, are provided with holes to receive securing bolts 6. The posts may stop short of the top of the wall and support the extensions of roof beams as described in Specification 609,095. A corner post 11 is provided as shown in Fig. 4. Specification 609,096 also is referred to.
