Abstract
607,038. Electromagnetic relays. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Jan. 23, 1946, No. 2280. Convention date, Feb. 6, 1945. [Class 38 (v)] A relay is provided with a balanced pivoted armature 21 which rocks between electromagnet pole-pieces 19, 20 as shown in Fig. 3, or on the same side of the pole-pieces as shown in Fig. 8. The armature is separated from the pole-pieces when not energized by the pressure of the contact spring 31 and stud 36. The armature consists of a flat plate pivoted at its centre of gravity on brackets 26 fixed to one of the pole-pieces.
