603,005. Roads and ways. AKTIEBOLAGET VIBRO-BETONG. Nov. 25, 1943, No. 19683. Convention date, Nov. 28, 1942. [Class 107] [Also in Group V] Apparatus for moulding concrete &c. road surfaces comprises a mould having one of its walls displaceable relative to the remaining walls to compress the concrete in the mould, vibratory means inelastically connected to the displaceable wall, and resilient means acting in compression on the displaceable wall to effect transmission of an elastic pressure to the material in the mould through the said wall. This apparatus is not illustrated by drawings, but Fig. 10 shows a machine for making a large slab, comprising five vibrators resting on a framework 25 which transmits vibrations to the displaceable upper wall 3 of a mould 1. A weight 6 bears through rubber buffers 7 on the wall 3. The lower wall 2 also is displaceable, and rests on a weight 8 supported on rubber buffers 9.
