[Class 126] [Also in Groups XIII and XXVI] A gas or electric cooker has in combination a body, a door for closing an opening in one side of the body, a four sided channel on the inner face of the door (or around the said opening in the body), a ridge around the said opening (or on the inner face of the door), a flexible and resilient metal sealing strip or strips bent to a U-shaped or equivalent crosssection and located in said channel, one side of the strip, or each strip, being secured to the base of the channel, and the other side being adapted to bear on the said ridge when the door is closed. A door d is formed on its inner face with a channel e extending around and parallel to the four edges of the door. One arm a of a U-shaped resilient metal strip is bolted to the door at the base of the channel with or without a metal strip frame h, the other, free, arm c contacting a ridge f formed on the main body part g.
