Abstract

1377115 Window sealing strips V B K RASMUSSEN 21 Nov 1972 [22 Nov 1971] 53754/72 Heading E1J A tilting window including a fixed frame 1, a pivotal sash 2 and a rail 4 secured to either the frame or the sash for abuttment with the other in the closed position, has a T-sectioned, elastic seal having its stem 7 secured in a groove 8 in the rail facing the line of contact 5 between the frame and sash, and one half of the cross-piece 6 of the T is engaged in a groove between the rail and the sash or frame to which the rail is secured. The seal may be an elastomer or of folded metal.
