602,407. Floor springs. BROWN, G. H., and WATKINS, C. S. Oct. 15, 1945, No. 26932. [Class 65 (i)] A floor spring for swing doors comprises a housing 16 secured to the floor, a cam member 18 rotatably mounted in the housing and secured to the door, and a pair of slides 20 carried in the housing. Each slide is biassed inwardly by springs 19 different from the springs associated with the other slides. The cam member and slides co-act to hold the door open (as shown) or closed.
