Class 65 (ij In a stay comprising arms 14, 16 pivoted together at 15 and at their respective outer ends to a bracket 13 secured to the door post 11 and at 17 to the door 12, a permanent magnet 20 is fixed to the arm 16. The arrangement is such that the magnet turns as the door opens until the arms are nearly aligned, when it bears against and holds to the inner panel of the door, or to a steel plate secured thereto. The magnet may be adapted to suit different kinds of doors.
