601,737. Transformers. JACKSON, D., and PYE, Ltd. Sept. 27, 1945, No. 25048. .[Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Group XL (c)] A matching transformer 43 associated with a dipole aerial at the top of a mast (see Group XL (c)) comprises a secondary winding consisting of copper strip wound with interleaved insulating strip and a primary winding surrounding the secondary and consisting of a number of double turns of wire. The copper strip has lateral projections 44 soldered to conducting strips 35, 36, One end of each of the primary coils is soldered to a coupling member 21 and the other ends are soldered together and to the strip 36 to form a centre tap.
