596,075. Refrigerators. TRIGGS, W. W. (Hussmann-Ligonier Co.). July 17, 1945, No. 18329. [Class 29] An open-topped refrigerated display case has a rear wall 2 extending higher than the front wall 3, 8, a top wall 7 terminating short of the front wall, and a rearwardly inclined baffle or curtain wall 24 depending from the top wall in front of a refrigerating coil 20 to a point below the level of the top of the front wall. The baffle extends between the end walls 4 of the case and is carried by brackets 28 which also support a second baffle 31 extending from the coils 20 to a point below the baffle 24. The goods are supported on a tray 13 carried adjustably by brackets 14, 15 the rear brackets being spaced from the rear wall by a channel member 17. Glass plates 8, 9 form the upper portions of the front wall and the front of the side walls. A drain 35 carries away condensed moisture. A lamp 12 and mirror 30 are provided. A vertical strip 19 prevents goods being pushed off the rear edge of the tray 13. Specification 596,076 is referred to.
