Abstract

595,489. Hinges. NORTHERN PATENT DEVELOPMENTS. Ltd., and BARTLETT, B. G. W. July 6. 1945, No. 17309. [Class 65 (ii)] A pivot pin for scissors has a wholly or partly tapered solid head 11 provided with one or more steps and fitting a corresponding recess in the blade 15. The minimum diameter of the head is greater than the diameter of the shank 13 and the end face 11 of the head and the face 25 of at least one of the steps lie in parallel planes normal to the axis of the pin. The shank may be tapered.
