550,626. Scissor pivots. WHITELEY & SONS (SHEFFIELD), Ltd., W.; and RALPH, G. A. Sept. 17. 1941, No. 11927. [Class 65 (ii)] A scissor pivot comprises a sleeve 3 passing through the two blades and having a flange 4 bearing on one of them. It has slots 7 and a bevelled end 5, so that, when a screw 9 is threaded into the sleeve, the end 5 is expanded by the bevel 10. A groove 11 is formed in the sleeve to receive lubricant through the open end 8 of the sleeve.
