588,472. Rulers. SHAW, W. Feb. 20, 1945, No. 4312. [Class 97 (iii)] A hollow ruler of substantially polygonal section has ridges or projections separating the faces and is provided with end plugs 8 of the same size and shape as the ruler section. The faces 7 may be concave and the separating ridges 6 rounded. Projections 11 on the end plugs may engage complementary recesses in the ruler to ensure correct alignment of the parts.
