Abstract

564,870. Vapour burners. BATES, S. W. May 19, 1943, No. 7970. [Class 75 (i)] In a vapour burner in which the jet hole is kept clean by a retractable needle B, the needle portion entering the parallel portion of the jet hole is connected by a curved portion G with a portion of larger diameter having a shoulder E which abuts against an inclined surface H on the nipple, a clearance space being left between the curved portion G and inclined surface H. The shoulder E may be formed on a slightly tapered portion F of the needle. Specification 500,418 is referred to.
