Abstract

595,458. Lubricating pumps. UNIGUN LUBRICATING EQUIPMENT, Ltd. and MARTONFALVY, I. C. Dec. 8, 1944, No. 24645. [Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group XXVI] A combined fluidactuated motor and pump for delivering lubricants &c. from drums comprises a double - acting motor piston 21 that is attached to a rod 27 connected by the rod 37 to the pump plunger 67. The arrangement is supported by a plate 8 on the top of the drum and the supply and exhaust of the pressure fluid to the motor cylinder 18 is controlled by a piston valve 41 connected to a rod 38 having an enlargement 39 that is moved by engagement with the ends of the rods 27, 37 at the end of the piston strokes to move the valve 41 which is retained in its extreme positions by telescopic toggle links 43 pivoted to a rod 47. The pump plunger 67 carries a rod 77 in frictional contact with the suction valve 80 and fitted with a head 83 to prime the pump cylinder. The pump plunger has passages controlled by valves 71, 75 and is designed to deliver on each stroke through the outlet 35 that is connected with the tube 11. Specification 499,892 is referred to.
