Abstract

[Class 136 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVIII] In a combined direction indicator and rear light for cycles an electrically illuminated arm pivoted in a casing is extended horizontally to one side to indicate a turn by a finger trigger and Bowden cable (see Group XXXVIII), and in its vertical position is shrouded by the casing except for its extremity which acts as a rear light. In the form described the casing may.be carried by an ordinary lamp bracket on the rear fork, and the arm is of arrow shape illuminated by a lamp in the head portion thereof which projects beyond the casing in the vertical non- signalling position.
