[Class 52 (ii)] [Also in Group XXV] In a chair which adjusts itself automatically to the position of the sitter, the back portion consists of two angle plates f secured to the upholstered portion h and pivoted to brackets b mounted on the tubular metal side frames a of the chair, which plates f are pivotally connected to similar angle plates e of the seat portion by rivets. The side frames a are interconnected by cross rods c, d, and the forward ends of the plates e ride on self-lubricating bushes r on the cross rod c, and are provided with hooks e' to limit their rearward movement.
