[Class 107] A continuous strip of grating is formed from panels such as A, B, C, and D, each panel comprising a series of straight parallel bars 10, 11 and 12 held in spaced relationship by crimped strips 13 which are riveted to the bars at all points of contact 14. The ends 15 of the bars 11, 12 are bent at right angles towards the centre bar 10 but are not joined to the neighbouring bars. When laid end to end the opposing ends 15 are riveted together at 17. The panels may be welded to angle irons 18. The end panels of a strip have their ends 15 riveted to a bar 19. A similar bar may be disposed between adjacent panels such as A, B.
