Abstract

1,189,082. Metallic grid. F. DE BARBUAT DU PLESSIS. 4 March, 1968 [7 March, 1967], No. 10351/68. Heading D1K. A reinforcement grid comprises two intersecting series of metal rods or the like in which a pair of one series 8 is joined by connectors 2 to pairs of rods of the other series 9, each connector engaging four rods. The connector has a hole 10a at its centre so that grids may be bolted in a superposed position or fixed to a support. The ends of the grids may be provided with hooks for joining adjacent grids; the elements may be zinc or cadmium coated. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,069,557.
