Abstract
1,112,142. Bracelets. M. ZALTRON. 25 March, 1966 [1 Dec., 1965], No. 13173/66. Heading A3H. An extensible metal strap comprises transverse members 1 each transverse member being connected at four corners by four connecting members 2 to 5 to two comers of two adjacent members so that the members are under torsion when the strap is extended. The transverse members may have various forms such as rectangular plates, interconnected tubes or spirals or elongated coils. The members may have an initial twist opposite to that during extension in order that the members retain close contact when the strap is retracted. The ends of the member 1 are connected by bent members 2 to 5. Other connecting members have various forms such as straight or bent rods or pairs of rods connected to form U-shaped members the ends of which are bent inwardly or one rod may be bent along its length. The upper surface of the transverse members may be decorated or overlapping or telescoping cover members may be secured to the transverse members.
