[Class 117] Apparatus for separating granular particles by pneumatic means embodies a gravity feed flow line within an inner chamber b in which baffles c ensure the material following a zigzag path, an air circulation through the chamber simultaneously introduced at a number of separate points b<SP>2</SP>, and independent delivery channels b<SP>1</SP>, and h<SP>1</SP> for the separated materials. The circulating air is withdrawn from the inner chamber through a duct e by a fan f and is then returned by a pipe g to an outer chamber h communicating with the inner chamber by ports b<SP>2</SP>. The material blown into chamber h leaves through hopper h<SP>1</SP> and the material that remains in chamber b leaves through hopper bl. If desired, filters may be inserted in the air circulation pipes.
