Abstract
585,657. Drawing-mechanism for spinning &c. machines. AEBERLI, A. Jan. 21. 1939, No. 2109. - Convention date, May 10, 1938. [Class 120 (ii)] Drawing-mechanism for normal or high draft in mules, ring frames, preparing-machines and drawing-frames, comprises a saddle coupled to the weight hook and carrying a rear pressing- roller 12. The saddle is formed in two parts 4, 5 adjustably connected by a screw 6, the part 4 embracing the top front roller and being adjustably pivoted to the hook, and the part 5 carrying an arbour 9 upon which a pair of rollers 12 is mounted. The saddle may be swung into a vertical position to enable the rollers 12 to be readily cleaned. The screw 6 is flattened so that it may be locked by a screw 8 but may have a certain rotary freedom.
