765,262. Fibre drafting mechanism. SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GES. Feb. 21, 1955 [April 10, 1954], No. 5124/55. Class 120 (2). A drafting mechanism embodying a top roller carrier arm C pivotably mounted on a bracket B carried by a rod 10 fixed in the machine framework has the bracket C secured by clamping members 16,17 urged into clamping position by tightening means, such as a screw 18. The clamping members 16,17 engage between the rod 10 and parts 162, of the bracket B which are formed by the inturning of parts, such as 30, of the bracket. In order that the carrier arm C may pivot, it is carried by a bolt 12 and is provided with a hook 14 capable of engagement under a nose 111 of the bracket B to hold the arm in operative position.
