[Classes 18 and 66] [Also in Group XXIX] In a container of the type built of sections with marginal flanges disposed at or about 45‹ to the body portion, the flanges overlapping and being secured together, the sides are formed of plates 12 with inclined flanges 13, 14, the flange 14 being deeper than the flanges 13 and being arranged outside a flange 13 of the adjacent side; the top and bottom of the container may be formed of plates 17 with deep flanges 16 to overlap the flanges 13 of the sides, or the top edge of the upper flanges of the side plates may be turned over at right angles to the body of the plates and a top secured thereto. The flanges of the plates 17-and the ends of the flanges 14 are cut away as at 15 to facilitate jointing. Packing strips may be placed between the flanges, which are bolted together.
