584,743. Cartridge magazines. HYDRAN PRODUCTS, Ltd., and MOTLEY, L. June 14, 1944, No. 11380. [Class 119] Rounds of ammunition are arranged in two rows, in staggered relation in a magazine which is of such a width that the rounds of each row are maintained out of engagement with each other so that they are free to move through the magazine with a rolling movement. The rounds 2 are urged towards the outlet 3 by a presser shoe 4 having rollers 5 engaging the end round and acted on by a spring 6. A stop 7 holds the rounds in the magazine until it is mounted on the gun.
