[Class 64 (iii)] A side fire-brick or cheek for a domestic stove is made hollow and of metal, cement or other refractory material, and is provided in its front face with a lower cold air inlet opening 5 and an upper hot air outlet opening 4 fitted with outlet pipes 9, 10. An L-shaped baffle 8 is 'also provided within the cheek for causing the air to pass in a circuitous path therethrough. The cheeks may be made in two parts, the upper part or cover including the horizontal portion of the baffle 8 and the opening 4. The outlet pipe 9 may be constituted by an integral extension of the opening 4.
