580,988. Oil seals. SUPER OIL SEALS & GASKETS, Ltd., and MOXON, L. A. July 7, 1944, No. 13028. [Class 122 (v)] In an oil seal comprising a spring loaded flexible ring c held in contact with the end wall of a casing a by a washer f, distance piece g, retaining ring i and the turned-over portion k of the casing, the ring i is provided with notches or holes m for the passage of oil and to accommodate an extracting tool. The distance-piece g may be formed from a corrugated strip bent to circular form. Specifications 467,935 and 545,369 are referred to.
