[Class 69 (i)] For overcoming the effects of stress decay around apertures in flexible fuel tanks, a layer 5 of material which is resistant to but swellable by the fuel is inserted between the tank wall 1 and a rigid member 6, the wall 1 and layer 5 being secured together between bolted rigid members 6 and 7.
