573,804. Valves. BENTON & STONE, Ltd., and MILNER, C. E. Dec. 16, 1943, No. 21125. [Class 135] A valve-operating lever is retained in position against accidental movement by a fluid-operated plunger. In the form shown, movement of the lever b in the direction for opening a valve s allows fluid to pass from an inlet c to an outlet d and also to a chamber j where it acts on a plunger 2 to hold the lever in position. Movement of the lever in the opposite direction depresses the plunger, allows the valve s to close, and causes the opening of a valve q to release fluid from chambers j, h to an outlet f, and the opening of another inlet valve to allow passage from the inlet c to an outlet e.
