Abstract

573,402. Printing-machines. MILLER PRINTING MACHINERY CO. Aug. 1, 1941, No. 12466/42. Convention date, Aug. 3, 1940. Divided out of 568,346. [Class 100 (ii)] Inking-apparatus.-The screws 303 for adjusting the ductor blade 19, are arranged in two rows, those in one row being inclined to those in the other row. The screws actuate the blade through bell crank levers 299 having abutments 302 engaging the blade. The entire blade adjusting means is mounted on a support 281 carried by arms 282 which may be turned about a shaft 263 by cams 285 on a shaft 284 operated by a hand crank arranged at one end of the duct, to move the blade bodily with respect to the fountain roller 18. Specification 573,425 is referred to.
