Abstract

[Classes 36 and 38 (i)] The lead-through bolt j of a terminal bushing has a hexagonal or other suitably shaped portion i co-operating with an appropriately sectioned bore e of the bushing insulator a to prevent rotation of the bolt when an external conductor is being clamped thereto by a nut screwed on the bolt. Rotation of the insulator relatively to its flange supporting ring k, which engages a collar b of the insulator, is prevented by forming the ring with inwardly projecting fingers n which engage slots c in the collar. The internal lead from the casing or the like carrying the bushing is soldered to an extension h of the bolt.
