[Class 87 (i)] A building brick is provided with intersecting longitudinal and transverse ribs 10, 12 of inverted V- section which enter the mortar to prevent penetration of moisture and provide channels to lead moisture towards the outer face of the brickwork. A frog 15 may be provided in the top and bottom faces.
