[Class 87 (i)] A brick is provided with a substantially rectangular insert 2 of wood or other comparatively soft material which is exposed at one face only and is formed with a rectangular recess 5 by which it is keyed to the brick. The exposed face of the insert may be flush with the face of the brick or it may be formed with a projection 3, of reduced thickness, as shown.
