570,928. Supporting panels for roofs, floors &c. RUBBEROID CO., Ltd., PLUMMER, H. L., and IRWIN, D. L. Aug. 27, 1943, No. 14046. [Class 20 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXIII] A supporting panel for roofs, decks, partitions &c. of the kind in which metal 1 is formed with reinforcing corrugations or channels is characterised in that the corrugations are filled with a material 7 into which nails may be driven for securing the outer covering of boards, slates, tiles &c. The channels may be integral as shown in Fig. 2 or attached as shown in Fig. 4 and are preferably tapered or recessed to retain the filling. The filling may be wood as shown in Fig. 4 or a cementitious material containing coke breeze or pitch and saw dust mixture. Specifications 337,525, [Class 20 (iv)], 377,235, and 543,152 are referred to.
