567,652. Knitting-machines. BENTLEY ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., BROOKSBY, E., and DEANS, F. E. May 3, 1943, No. 6982. [Class 74 (ii)] A picker having a central portion 10 operative upon short butts of the needles of a knitting- machine, is provided with laterally extending wings 13. The wings 13 are of sufficient width to cover such gaps as occur in the long butts of the needles due to the layout of the butts for pattern requirements. One laterally extending wing only may be provided.
